Aftermath of B.C. Floods
Flooding in B.C. has devastated parts of the province, forcing evacuations as atmospheric rivers drench the south west parts of British Columbia.
Pastor Paul Droogers was forced to evacuate his home in 2013 as water levels quickly heightened in High River, Alberta. “As I look at the images coming out of B.C. there’s a real sense that those folks are also experiencing things being so out of control, and not knowing where they’re at, where they might be going, and when they might be able to return.” As pastor of the High River Christian Reformed Church, he saw what it took to rebuild and recover from the devastation of floods.
