Thousands of people are displaced as bush fires ravage through New South Wales in Australia.

Temperatures are expected to soar above 40 degrees celsius again in the coming days, offering no relief for firefighters trying to contain bush fires that have burned across the country since October. Fires have spread to more than 4 million hectares and destroyed up to 1,000 homes.

Nearly 100 firefighters and experts from U.S. and Canada are in Australia to help combat the blazes.

Samaritan’s Purse is on the ground to help victims of the fire start rebuilding their lives after losing everything.
