Police and activists try to re-build community in the face of tragedy
Devan Bracci-Selvey was bullied and harassed nearly everyday from the start of the school year to the day of his death on October 12, 2019. Devan’s mother tried to help her son, but she says the school system, police, and even she ultimately failed him. Hamilton Hate Crimes detective Paul Corrigan and Hamilton activist Kojo Damptey join Lorna to help us understand how we can combat hatred, and work together to build a stronger community in the aftermath of such a tragic event.
