Crisis Zones: Cyclone Idai in southern Africa and flooding in the midwest U.S.

More than 750 deaths – so far – in the wake of Cyclone Idai that rampaged Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Malawi in Africa. It’s one of the worst weather-related disasters to hit the southern hemisphere.

How is help being activated following Cyclone Idai?

Video captured in the aftermath is astounding. Homes, schools, people’s livelihoods destroyed in a matter of moments.

This week on Context: We take a look at why natural disasters happening all over our world are triggering domino effects of more floods, droughts, famines, and other weather disasters and how we can help our global neighbours in these crisis zones.
