Changes are coming to Canada’s medical assistance in dying legislation. A Quebec Superior Court says Canada’s current laws are too restrictive – and should remove a requirement that natural death be in the ‘foreseeable future’.
Pro-euthanasia advocacy groups want the law to go even further to include mature minors and those suffering from mental illnesses.
