Handling cancer care during a pandemic

Dr. Jory Simpson is a breast surgical oncologist, who also teaches at the University of Toronto. Dr. Simpson joins Lorna to talk about the delays on cancer care, and how prioritizing certain cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic is difficult in an over-stretched health system.

Laura Burnett is the vice-president of information and support for the Canada Cancer Society. Laura talks with Lorna about the impact the coronavirus is having on cancer patients and caregivers, and how the CCS is continuing to provide support for patients, families, and caregivers.
