Hannah Vanderkooy found her love for sharing stories that make a difference as an intern at Context (then Listen Up).

She decided to go back to school to get a Journalism Diploma at Humber College in 2010. After working as a chase producer and senior producer at Sun News Network, she decided to expand her career to the online platform, Rebel Media, where she produced a powerful documentary on the plight of Christians in Iraq called Save the Christians.

The documentary inspired her to go back to news that brings a hopeful message to the often bleak news cycle – and found a perfect fit as senior producer for Context!
