Is university worth it? (Episode 1828)
“Get a good education,” have always been word to the wise, but as we’ve seen in the U.S. college admissions scandal, some parents will do anything to get their children into university. Hollywood elite join 24 others in pleading guilty to bribing some of America’s best schools to admit their children for enrolment.
And in Canada, funding university is an uphill battle. Universities are a $35 billion annual enterprise, and just over half of all Canadians have spent time working on a university degree.
