For over 20 years, Melissa McEachern has been an outstanding producer of Christian media. Her two greatest passions are communicating stories of hope and empowering the next generation of world changers.

As a child, she grew up surrounded by discussions about the importance of media and how each person has a story to tell, leading to her decision at a young age to pursue a career in media. At 16 years old she was a Producer for Crossroads’ youth program The Warehouse. With this position came many responsibilities and great opportunities, such as travelling to the 2000 World Expo in Hanover, Germany to shoot on-location episodes for The Warehouse. She attended Ryerson University for Radio and Television Arts and then became a Producer for Square One World Media Inc. in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Melissa also Road Managed for Starfield, Amanda Lindsay Cook & Beautiful Unique Girl across Canada. While in Winnipeg she also produced and hosted a live Sunday evening radio show, GodTalk on the superstation, CJOB.

After 7 years in Winnipeg, Melissa moved back to Toronto to accept the role as the Youth Initiatives Director at Crossroads where she led an internship development program, empowering more than 55 youth in media studies. After that, she became the Executive Producer on 100 Huntley Street, Canada’s longest daily talk show, where she led the team of creative producers, hosts and editors. Melissa also had the opportunity to join the Emerging Leaders program through Arrow Leadership which was foundational in her growth as a young leader. With strong leadership skills and ability to create something from nothing, Melissa was asked to lead and launch Castle TV, Crossroads first OTT video platform.

Also, a passionate supporter of volunteering, Melissa has served on GMA Canada’s board and currently serves as a board member of Camp Crossroads.
