Mother of kidnapped daughter pleads for help and prayers

October 9, 2018
by Context Team

We lift our prayers for 15 year old Leah Sharibu who was kidnapped in February by the terrorist group Boko Haram.

Leah’s mother held a press conference where she begged the Nigerian government to help save her daughter. Christian Post reports that “the 15 year old has refused to renounce her faith in Jesus Christ in order to be granted her freedom, and is in danger of being put to death for her decision.”

Prayers for Leah and others who are held captive. Our partners from Global News Alliance have more from the press conference with Leah’s mother:
