How athletes are using their platforms to fight racism and injustice

In 2016 San Fransisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick started a global conversation when he kneeled during the U.S. national anthem. Four years later, Kapernick’s silent protest to fight Anti-Black racism and police brutality in the U.S. has exploded. Now – in the sport world – amid COVID-19 bubbles – teams are using their platforms to raise awareness.
