Thousands gather across Canada – and millions more around the world – to protest climate change
Toronto – September 27, 2019 – Thousands of people in Toronto and Hamilton gathered for a Global Climate Strike on Friday.
The protesters were from all generations and included young people who skipped school.
The rallies were inspired by Swedish activist Greta Thunberg who is currently in North America challenging world leaders to take action.
