63 Canadians among 176 people who perished in Iran plane crash
Canada is in shock after a plane crash over Iran killed all 176 people on board – Including 63 Canadians.
The plane was en-route to Kyiv, Ukraine from Tehran airport and crashed just minutes after take-off.
Canadians on board were from all walks of life, with 30 victims from Edmonton alone.
While government officials here in Canada and abroad work to find answers on how this tragic crash could have happened, Iranian-Canadian communities are coming together in grief across the country.
