Welcoming the stranger
CRISIS. We love using that word in media but when it comes to welcoming the stranger, Canada is not in a crisis on migrants.
Our border is tremendously secure. Our refugee processing is a model to the world.
Where there is a crisis, is in compassion and in welcoming to the thousands in cue for processing in Canada.
Let’s do our part to support those newcomers to Canada and grant them basic human rights of dignity and safety until their cases are heard for a new chance.
