What makes you happy?
Canadians are not as happy as we once were ten years ago. According to the World Happiness Report, Canada ranks number 15 out of 146 countries. That’s good, right?
Well, ten years ago, we were number five on the list.
So, where do the happiest people in the world live? Finland! They have topped the list for the past four years.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network bases the ranking on healthy life expectancy, social trust, corruption, freedom to make key life decisions, GDP per capita, and community support.
So why are we less happy in Canada?
Do we need a World Happiness Report to tell us if we are happy or not? How do we find true happiness?
